WHY US
ROC Systems is still activelly involved in Tobacco farming. We have our own farming division that grows an annual 50 Ha crop. We have built a 28 Ha ECOTUNNEL and 48 Ha Grading Shed on our premises in Chinhoyi and are actively curing our own crop using our own technology.
We are actively utilising this research & development to make a better product, because we've used most of the curing units out there and know how to improve it.

ROB STOKES
TECHNICAL/MANAGING DIRECTOR
Rob has 15 years practical & successful farming experience, as well as 4 years of experience in consulting to commercial tobacco farmers. This consultancy has assisted farmers in producing better results & higher profits.
At 40 years of age Rob has 15 years practical and successful farming experience and 4 years’ experience consulting to commercial tobacco farmers and assisting farmers in producing better results and higher profits.
Rob holds a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from Lackham College in the U.K. Rob is the Chairman of The Misting Company (High pressure misters are used for humidity control and dust control for conditioning tobacco barns and grading sheds), Chairman of Doorstep Farming P/L, Chairman of ROC Systems. Rob is happily married to Louise and they have 4 lovely children.

BOET BARNARD
ENGINEERING DIRECTOR
Ernst (Boet) is a qualified electrician from Eskom as well as being a fitter & turner. Boet has 10 years of practical farming experience and also 5 year of experience with Brown’s Engineering as their Head Maintenance Co-ordinator. This entailed overseeing mechanical, electrical and all other general maintenance at the Harare Engineering division of Brown's Engineering and the Victoria Falls Illala Lodge, crocodile farm and engineering divisions.
Boet is also the owner of Barnard's Electrical and Barnard’s Dura Walling Company. Boet is married to Lianna and they have 2 children.

MARIA NYAGUMBO
HR/PR ADMINISTRATOR
Maria has experience in all aspects of Human Capital Management gained mainly in Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zambia and Uganda. Until June 2007, she was a Principal Advisor with Ernst and Young Zimbabwe, for a period of 8 years. She was thereafter a freelance consultant until she joined Roc Systems in July 2012. Her role as Office Manager includes human resources management, managing all administration, and client relationship management. Maria is married to Newton and they have 2 children.
